Biography
Hailing from San Francisco, CA, photographer Dustin Alexander Thornton, or better known as 'Dustin Hollywood', seems to be a little bit of everywhere now. Traveling the country shooting everything from national fashion campaign shoots to personal projects such as his motel series fashion book that will come out later in 2015. Specializing in fashion and music photography, Dustin has shot for some of the largest companies and artists in the industry such as Steve Aoki, Me Undies, Superior Magazine, Ben Trovato, Dirtybird Records, C-Heads Magazine, Salacious Sound, Le Castle Vania, Dim Mak, Kill Frenzy, Ookay, Kennedy Jones, Zigi NY, Claude Vonstroke, Justin Martin, The Standard Hotel, Euphoria Music Festival, SXSW, Central Track, Flosstradamus, and many more!
Since 2009 he has traveled the country, shooting almost every EDM and mixed-music festivals in the country from Bonnaroo, SXSW, and FUN FUN FUN Fest to EDC Las Vegas, HARD Fest, and TomorrowWorld. In 2012 he served as Steve Aoki's personal photographer as well as Dim Mak Records before moving on to travel and work on personal projects. He is a regular contributor to Dirtybird Records, Salacious Sound, Nakid Magazine, C-Heads, Superior Mag, Electrostub, VICE/Thump, and more!
In Summer 2014 he founded Nakid Magazine, an art/culture magazine specializing in documenting young up and coming artists from around the world. Later in Fall 2014 he shot S/S15 NY Fashion Week for the cover of Superior Magazine which was voted cover of the year for 2014.
Currently he is traveling and shooting for clients all over the World.
